Pat Ann Souder, age 81 of Boyne City died unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, January 26, 2010.

Pat was born on December 27, 1929 in Boyne Falls the daughter of Charles and Lucille (Paquette) Bean. Pat was known by all her friends and family for her wonderful homemade cookies and pies. She gave decades of service, administratively and personally, to hospice in both Isabelle and Charlevoix counties.

She is survived by her two sons Denny (Laura) Miller and Dave (Kathren) Miller; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Robert (Noreen) Bean, Sally Looze, Larry (Norma) Bean, Mary (Merle) Carson and Katie (Cresson) Sanford; many nieces and nephews.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents; sister Joann King and brother Michael Bean.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 7:30 pm tonight at Stackus Funeral Home in Boyne City.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2010 at the funeral home. Pastor David Behling will be officiating.

The family request memorial donations be directed to the American Cancer Society or Northern Michigan Community Health Agency Hospice.
