Misty (Looze) King, 33

Misty L. (Looze) King, age 33 of Boyne City died Monday, May 24, 2010 at University of Michigan Hospital from complications of a brain aneurysm

Misty was born on June 24, 1976 in Petoskey the daughter of Carol Looze. She grew up and graduated from Boyne City High School. Misty married Matthew King on October 4, 2003 aboard the Amber Moon in Bocha Grande, FL. She loved animals, nature, her friends, spending time at grandma’s house; most of all Misty loved being with her daughter Maysun.

Misty is survived by her husband Matthew; daughter Maysun; mother Carol Looze; grandma Sally Looze; great grandma Peg Clarence; mother and father-in-law Ron and Becky King; many aunts, uncles and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her grandpa John Looze; great-grandpa Que and aunt Liz Looze.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at St. Matthews Church with Pastor David Behling officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow the service at the pavilion in Veterans Memorial Park in Boyne City from 1:00 pm to 4:00pm.

The family request memorial donations be directed to Petoskey Central School to help children in need.
