Jody Kowalske, 43

Jody Anna (Hill) Kowalske , age 43 of Boyne City passed away at home May 19, 2010.

Jody was born November 4, 1966 in Mt. Clemens the daughter of Bill Hill and Janet Suess.

Those who knew and loved her will remember her for her compassion for the things she believed in, especially for those in need, her love for animals, and her contagious laughter.

Jody worked along with her husband Mark in real estate for fourteen years know as the “Dynamic Duo”. Jody was a member of St. Matthews Church, ETA NU Sorority, and the Lions. Her passion was riding her bike. Jody belonged to the Boyne Country Bike Club logging many, many miles over the years.

Jody loved growing herbs, cooking for family and friends. She looked forward every year to getting together with her father Bill to make perogies and homemade sausage.

Jody is survived by her husband Mark; mother Janet Suess; father Bill (Elaine) Hill; brother Daryll Kuester; sisters Rhonda (Archie) O’Donnell, Renee (James) Pietrykowski, Laurie (Jim) Kapozzo; grandmother Helen Hill; many nieces, nephews, friends; and her beloved cats Jasmine, Abby and Tig.

Visitation will be held 5:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Stackus Funeral Home.

A celebration of Jody’s life will take place 11:00 am Monday, May 24, 2010 at St. Matthews Church in Boyne City with Fr. Duane Wachowiak serving as celebrant.
