Donald B. Tuck
(February 6, 1933 – January 27, 2010)

Donald Tuck age 76 of Cheboygan died Wednesday January 27, 2010 at his home following a long illness. Don was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 6, 1933 the son of Charles and Mable (Smith) Tuck.

Don enlisted in the US Navy in January 1952 and served until July 1952. He was employed for many years both as a fireman and cook aboard the freighters on the Great Lakes until his retirement. Don loved to cook and would cook for family and friends on many occasions. He was a member of the Masonic lodge, both Cheboygan and Indian River. He was a member of the Shrine of Indian River and was very proud to be involved with the transporting the children to and from their appointments at the Shrine Hospitals and seeing the progress they were making. He loved to travel, especially with Juanita the love of his life.

Don is survived by the love of his life, Juanita. Sons; Keith of Ann Abor and Randy (Sherri) of Cheboygan. an adopted son Michael (Angie) of Roger City, step-sons David (Pauma) of Nevada and Derek of Ind. , a daughter Karen of Cheboygan, 10 grandchildren, 2 gt grandchildren a brother Richard (Paulette) of Howell and a sister Gerri (Bob) of Florida.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on February 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Nordman Funeral Home. There will be a time of fellowship from noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial may be given to Hospice of the Straits.
