Carol Ann Dimitrijevic
(July 12, 1968 – January 28, 2010)

Carol A. Dimitrijevic, 41, left us to be with her Lord and Savior while at the Hospice of Little Traverse Bay Hiland Cottage on Jan. 27, 2010, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born July 12, 1968, in Petoskey, to John and Patricia (Florenski) Jarema. Carol was a graduate of Boyne Falls High School in 1986. On Feb. 14, 1998, she was united in marriage to Tomislav Dimitrijevic.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, the outdoors, scrapbooking, being part of a local food co-op and helping others.

Carol is survived by her husband, Tom; children, Olivia and Miles; her mother, Patricia; sister, Christine (Mike) Suchey; and brother, Steven (Karen) Jarema. She is further survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, John; and an infant brother, Michael. Donations are appreciated and can be made through the Stackus Funeral Home, in care of Tom Dimitrijevic to directly support their children.

At her request, no service will take place, however, a gathering of family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at Stackus Funeral Home in Boyne City.
