Construction Continues Throughout Boyne City
Despite the recent bout of rain, construction projects from within Boyne City have been continuing on schedule.

Old City Park
At the City Commission Meeting on August 25, 2009 City Manager Michael Cain updated the public, saying that the planned renovations are going well in Old City Park. All trees scheduled for removal have been removed, and those trees to be transplanted are in process. There is still one tree undecided as to its disposition, but that matter is being taken care of.
North East Street
A public input session was held, and was reported to have gone well. The public was informed of the plans for this project, and stated that they would like to see on-street parking between Vogel and North streets, and sidewalks on both sides.
Lake Street
There was a detour on Lake Street for a short time, which has since been removed.
