Boyne City Public Schools is pleased to announce Adam Stefanski as their new Athletic Director (AD) and to welcome him and his family to Rambler Country!

“Adam came through the interview process with high marks in every regard with strong references,” said Boyne City Public Schools Superintendent Pat Little. “We had 51 applicants, interviewed seven in the first round and four in the final round.”

He added, “In each interview, he was able to articulate a clear vision for high-quality athletic programs, strong communication, and positive relationships with the community.”

Adam Stefanski comes to Boyne City after 10 highly successful years of experience as an Athletic Director as well as a building administrator for both middle school and high school.

“This addition to the administrative team shifts the responsibilities of two other members of the BCPS staff. John Hertel, formerly the AD and Assistant Principal for Boyne City High School will now be the full-time Assistant Principal,” Little said. “Karen Jarema will remain the Principal of the high school but will assume additional instructional leadership roles for next year. This shift in staffing represents the ever-growing responsibilities of our administrative team.  We now have an overall greater capacity for leadership in many areas.”

He is also a Nationally Certified Athletic Administrator through the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA).

Adam Stefanski is a highly regarded Girls Varsity Basketball Coach with a long history of building successful programs, leading coaches and athletes as they reach their full potential.

Stefanski’s contract will begin on July 1, 2019.
