Circuit Court
The following cases were recently heard in Charlevoix’s 33rd Circuit Court:
Bernie Michael Dykhouse Jr, 29 of East Jordan, possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy. To serve 270 days in jail with credit for 25 days served. To be placed on probation for two years, pay $958 in fines and costs.
Paul Michael Marvin, 39 of East Jordan, delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance. To serve 90 days in jail with credit for one day served. To be placed on probation for two years, pay $988 in fines and costs.
Karl Gene Balch, 39 of Charlevoix, operating while impaired with a felony third offense notice. To serve 120 days in jail with credit for three days served. To be placed on probation for three years, pay $1,298 in fines and costs.

District Court
The following cases were recently heard in Charlevoix’s 90th District Court:
Karen Kay Steiner, 50 of Sault Saint Marie, operating with license suspended/revoked/denied. To pay $350 in fines and costs.
Steven Anthony Hasse, 43 of Boyne Falls, truancy. To serve 90 days in jail with credit for one day served, 89 days held in abeyance. To be placed on probation for six months, pay $150 in fines and costs.
Billy Jack Pickles, 45 of Boyne City, impaired driving. To serve 93 days in jail with credit for one day served, 80 days held in abeyance. To be placed on probation for one year, complete outpatient therapy, submit to drug and alcohol testing, not to consume or possess alcohol or controlled substances. To pay $725 in fines and costs.
Phillip Michael Huffman, 26 of Petoskey, impaired driving. To serve 93 days in jail with credit for one day served, 92 days held in abeyance. To be placed on probation for six months, submit to drug and alcohol testing, not to consume or possess alcohol or controlled substances. To pay $725 in fines and costs.
Nathaniel James Gibson, 33 of Petoskey, drunk/disorderly person. To serve 90 days in jail with credit for 17 days served, 73 days work release. To pay $915 in fines and costs.
Trever Nicholas-Carpe Funseth, 36 of Clarkston, driving with license suspended. To pay $350 in fines and costs.
Will Douglas Granath, 34 of Charlevoix, drunk/disorderly. To pay $350 in fines and costs.
