District Court
The following cases were recently heard in Charlevoix’s 90th District Court:
Michael Wayne Hart, 53 of Boyne City, operating while intoxicated (second offense). To serve 365 days in jail with credit for one day served, 90 days on electronic monitor, 30 days community service work in lieu of jail time, 334 days held in abeyance. To be placed on probation for two years, submit to PBT/drug testing as required, not to consume or possess alcohol or controlled substances. To pay $1,375 in fines and costs.
Dennis Lee Skrocki Jr, 47 of East Jordan, impaired driving. To serve 93 days in jail with credit for one day served, three days community service work in lieu of jail time, 89 days held in abeyance. To be placed on probation for one year, submit to PBT/drug testing as required, not to consume or possess alcohol or controlled substances. To pay $725 in fines and costs.
Devvin Edward Stackus, 22 of Boyne City, operating on a suspended license, possession of marijuana. To serve 365 days in jail with credit for three days served, 332 days held in abeyance. To be placed on probation for one year, submit to PBT/drug testing as required, not to consume or possess alcohol or controlled substances. To pay $775 in fines and costs.
Jon Stanley Goldstick, 69 of Charlevoix, disturbing the peace. To serve 90 days in jail with credit for one day served, 89 days held in abeyance. To be placed on probation for four months, submit to PBT/drug testing as required, not to consume or possess alcohol or controlled substances. To pay $300 in fines and costs. Not to go to (address)
John Thomas Dittmar, 52 of Boyne City, impaired driving. To serve 93 days in jail with credit for one day served, three days community service work in lieu of jail time, 89 days held in abeyance. To be placed on probation for six months, submit to PBT/drug testing as required, not to consume or possess alcohol or controlled substances. To pay $725 in fines and costs.
Kenneth William Oakley Jr, 67 of Charlevoix, impaired driving. To serve 93 days in jail with credit for one day served, three days community service work in lieu of jail time, 89 days held in abeyance. To be placed on probation for six months, submit to PBT/drug testing as required, not to consume or possess alcohol or controlled substances. Pay $725 fines and costs.
