Boyne taking public input on parking issues

The public is invited to share their views and suggestions on Boyne City’s current and future parking needs, primarily in the downtown area.

The event is Wednesday June 27 from 6-7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Boyne District Library, 201 East Main St. in Boyne City.

Rich and Associates parking planners from Detroit will be reviewing Boyne City’s parking demands and making recommendations to meet the communities current and future needs.

The consultants and the resulting study are being provided to Boyne City free of charge as one of the services provided through the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the Michigan Municipal League because the City is one of the State’s certified Redevelopment Ready Communities.

Team members from Rich and Associates are in Boyne City Tuesday through Friday this week to meet with people and gather data that will help them prepare their report and recommendations.
