How to heal and forgive after being wronged will be discussed at Lifetree Café on Sunday April 1 at 6:30 p.m.
The program, titled “The Struggle to Forgive: Finding a Way Forward,” features the filmed story of Alicia Brady, who was the victim of a gang-related drive-by shooting.
A dancer, Brady sustained injuries that caused her to lose the ability to perform competitively.
“Dancing was my life,” says Brady. “Everything I had worked for was taken from me. I had lost that life, and I wasn’t going to get it back.”
This Lifetree program will offer guidance for those who find it difficult to forgive those who have wronged them.
Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Café is located 401 S. Park St., Boyne City. In the First Presbyterian Church. Use the Pine St. entrance.
