Boyne City author Kenn Grimes to hold reading and book-signing on his new novel this weekend.
Local author, Kenn Grimes, writer of the Booker Falls Mystery Series, has announced the release of the third book in the series, Paint the Librarian Dead.
Published by Cozy Cat Press, these cozy mysteries are set in Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula in the 1920s, in the fictional town of Booker Falls.
A book launch for Grimes’ latest book is scheduled for Saturday, June 23rd, at ten o’clock a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 401 South Park Street in Boyne City.
Following a brief reading from the book, Grimes will be signing and selling his newest release, along with the previous two books in the series, Strangled in the Stacks and Trifecta of Murder.
A member of Upper Peninsula Publishers and Authors, Michigan Writers, Mystery Writers of America, and Historical Fiction Society, Grimes has two other published books to his credit: a collection of short stories, Camptown … one hundred and 50 years of stories from Camptown, Kentucky; and The Other Side of Yesterday, a time-travel novel.
In addition to the above, Grimes has a sixth book due for release this month, Ancestors, a religious conspiracy thriller.
The event is open to the public.
