Phyllis Ellen Clark of Monroe, Ohio, passed away peacefully at the age of 96.
She was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on November 8, 1919 and was adopted by Veril and Claude Mosher, Phyllis grew up in Traverse City, Michigan.
After graduating high school, she attended Ferris State College.
On June 2, 1940, Phyllis married John Robert Clark (deceased), a union that lasted sixty-six years.
They resided in Boyne City, Michigan for forty-three years where she was a secretary of the Chamber of Commerce and the Boyne City Elementary School.
Phyllis was also a member of Boyne City United Methodist Church where she was very active.
Upon their retirement, Phyllis and John spent twenty winters in Florida where they were an integral part of their community, making many long lasting friendships.
Phyllis enjoyed meeting new people and talking to all.
In 1995, Phyllis and John made their final move to Monroe, Ohio to be closer to family.
Phyllis was a strong and smart woman and not afraid to speak her mind.
She kept everyone at home and work organized.
Phyllis was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Ellen (George) Bradley, grandsons, Scott (Ann) Bradley, Robert John (Marlene) Bradley, Eric Bradley and – granddaughter Kari Ellen (Les) Yeomans, seven great grandchildren, Cassidy, Kayla and Kyle Yeomans, Julia, Tyler, Levi and Kaiden Bradley.
Preceding her in death were infant son, Richard Lee Clark, her parents, Veril and Claude Mosher, her husband, John R. Clark in 2006, her brother, William Mosher, her sister, Natalie (Mosher) Dunzweiler, brother-in-law, Dick Dunzweiler, and grandson, Jeffrey Clark Bradley in 2011.
The family will have a private memorial service and burial at Greenwood Cemetery located in Petoskey, Michigan.
