The South Arm of Lake Charlevoix and downtown East Jordan will be filled with classic boats and cars and a Micro Brew Beer Tent as the popular South Arm Classics takes place Saturday, July 9, in East Jordan.
This signature event features a spectacular display of fifty-plus classic vintage boats, in water and on land in Memorial Park and over 150 classic cars of all makes and models lining downtown Main Street.
The Classic Car Show will award the Top 40 cars, Best of Show, Best – GM, Ford, Mopar and Director’s Choice.
The shows will also feature live music starting at 10 a.m. in the Memorial Park bandshell with local favorite Full Circle who will play until noon.
The Jon Archambault Band will take the stage at 12:30 p.m. and play until 2:30 p.m.
Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy great music on the lawn and shade of Memorial Park.
The East Jordan Lions Club is the proud sponsor of the classic car and boat shows.
A Micro Brew Beer Tent sponsored by the East Jordan Freedom Festival will also be held as a part of the South Arm Classics.
The tent will open at 2 p.m. and run until 8 p.m.
The Hacky Turtles” band, comprised of young musicians in their 20s, hailing from Traverse City, will be in the tent from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Bridge Street Tap Room will be on site serving up ice cold Michigan Micro Brew Beer and Cider.
Food will be available in the beer tent provided by Littleman Bites and Wingin It food wagons, as well as local restaurants for breakfast, lunch, dinner, cold beverages or a refreshing dessert.
There is a $5 admission fee to the beer tent and you must be 21 to enter.
