Crooked Tree Arts Center now taking nominations for 2016 eddi excellence in art awards

Crooked Tree Arts Center is now accepting nominations for the 2016 eddi Awards. Winning nominees will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony which will take place on Friday Sept. 23 at CTAC-Petoskey.

The eddi Awards honor and celebrate the individuals and organizations who work to keep the arts alive in northern Michigan through appreciation and participation.

Named for the late eddi Offield, Crooked Tree Arts Center is grateful to the Offield Family for the opportunity to recognize excellence in the arts by hosting these awards. eddi Offield was an accomplished artist in her own right, as well as a generous benefactor and advocate for the arts in northern Michigan.

Award categories include Visual Artist, Performing Artist, Arts & Cultural Organization, Arts in Education, Arts and Cultural Leadership, Individual Patron, Benefactor, Lifetime Achievement, and Young Artist.
