Boyne City Police Officer rescues baby deer

Early this morning, on Monday July 11, the Boyne City Police Department was called to the 200 block of State St. for a fawn stuck in a fence.
Boyne City Police Officer Tavis Tannehill responded and found a spotted fawn wedged in the corner of the fence.
Tannehill was able to safely lift the fawn free of the fence.
The fawn was released without injury.
