The need for additional housing and exploring ways to address it is one of Boyne City’s top goals.
Join local officials and community leaders, along with fellow residents and business owners, in the Boyne City housing summit.
At 7 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 20, Boyne City officials will host a housing summit to discuss the need for additional housing opportunities for people in the region.
The summit will be held at the Boyne Area Senior Center, located at 411 East Division St.
Housing needs have increasingly been affecting people looking to live and work in the area and businesses looking to hire employees.
Representatives from Boyne City government, Networks Northwest, Northern Homes, and area businesses will attend the meeting as they begin to explore the needs, housing trends, resources available and possible solutions.
This meeting is open to the public and will be concluded no later than 10 p.m.
City leaders will use the information and ideas gathered locally at the upcoming Housing Summit being conducted in Traverse City by Networks Northwest on Monday Oct. 24.
