After taking the summer off, the Boyne Area Chamber’s Business After Hours will start up again at 5:30 p.m. Thursday Sept. 15.
Hosting the business networking event will be the Good Neighbors Food Pantry and Boyne Area Free Clinic, located at 624 State St., Boyne City.
There is no charge for admission or refreshments.
Chamber members and local residents will be able to meet Ashley Cousens, the newly hired executive director of the chamber, who will be on her third day on the job Thursday.
Good Neighbors Food Pantry is celebrating its first anniversary.
It opened in September 2015 with the goal of creating a community-based food pantry to provide healthy food to Boyne area families in need.
The Boyne Area Free Clinic is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization formed in 2007.
The clinic is open on Fridays, providing basic primary care, immunizations and urgent care for low-income people from a five-county area.
