Beginning Wednesday Sept. 7, people will have another great reason to come out and enjoy our Boyne area restaurants and a chance to sample all that Boyne has to offer.
Every Wednesday evening, September through June, most local eateries will offer specials that include two alcoholic beverages and an appetizer to share for $15 or less.
Those currently participating include 7 Monks Taproom, B.C. Pizza, Boyne City Taproom, Cafe Sante, Friggy’s SoBo Pub, Porter Creek Fish House, Red Mesa Grill, the Whi-Ski Inn (Boyne Falls), the Venue at B.C. Lanes and Everett’s, Forty Acres Tavern and the Trophy Room at Boyne Mountain.
“Called ‘Boyne Appétit! Wednesdays,’ these are going to be great opportunities to try out our area’s wonderful food establishments,” said Cindy Boal Janssens, Boyne Appétit! Coordinator.
“Most will be offering dinner specials to tempt their guests to stay a bit longer and those that do not serve alcohol will make different but equally enticing offers.”
For updates on which businesses are participating and what their specials will be, visit the Boyne Appétit! www.facebook.com/BCboyneappetit or the website www.boyneappetit.com.
“This will replace the Wine Wednesdays that took place from January through June. With two new tap rooms and a microbrewery coming on line this year, we wanted to allow each establishment more flexibility in their offerings,” Janssens said. “This will be a great way for people to enjoy one or two stops each Wednesday to get in appetizers and drink specials.”
Boyne Appétit! is a collaboration of the Boyne Area Chamber and Boyne City Main Street, spearheaded by a committee comprised of local restaurateurs and volunteers promoting the dining experience throughout the Boyne Area of Boyne City, Boyne Falls, Advance and Walloon Lake. In addition to Boyne Appétit! Wednesdays, a Fall Restaurant Week is being planned for Oct. 17 through 24.
