The Bay Township Cemetery Committee teamed up with the Horton Bay United Methodist Church to form the Bay Township Area Cemeteries (BTAC) group in 2014 and is proud to announce that they will be again placing wreaths on the graves of all 45 veterans in Dyer, North Bay and Oaklawn Cemeteries in Bay Township once again in 2015.

Everyone is invited to attend the special wreath laying ceremony at Dyer Cemetery on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:45 AM (Sharp).

You do not have to sponsor a wreath to attend this ceremony.

At Noon, a moment of silence will be held across the entire nation.

At this time the 7 ceremonial wreaths will be placed and then the wreaths will be placed at the 45 graves of the veterans throughout the three cemeteries.

The Boyne City American Legion Ernest Peterson Post 228 will again be participating at this ceremony to honor and remember all of the military veterans buried in Bay Township.

If you would like to place a wreath on a specific grave, or have questions, please call Georganna Monk at 231-883-9867.

Bay Township is proud to have been the first and so far the only township in Charlevoix County to participate in Wreaths Across America. Please plan on joining us!
