District Court

The following cases were recently heard in Charlevoix’s 90th District Court:

Brian Lee-Anthony Starr, 29 of Harbor Springs, No ops on person. To pay $200 in fines and costs.

Nicholas Cole Hastert, 17 of Ellsworth, No Valid License/Multiple Licenses. To pay $350 in fines and costs.

Tracey Michelle Larowe, 43 of Rochester Hills, Failure to report an accident. To pay $300 in fines and costs.

Maria Katherine Stebbins, 21 of Beaver Island, Failure to report an accident. To pay $300 in fines and costs.

Charles Allen Field, 69 of Wolverine, Impaired driving. To serve 93 days in jail with credit for one day served, three days community service work in lieu of jail time, 89 days held in abeyance. To be placed on probation for six months, submit to PBT and drug test as required, not to consume or possess alcohol or controlled substances.

Jimmy Edward Stackus, 45 of Boyne City, Operating while intoxicated (second offense. To serve 365 days in jail with credit for one day served, 90 days on electronic monitor, 30 days community service work in lieu of jail time, 334 days held in abeyance. To be placed on probation for two years, submit to PBT and drug test as required, not to consume or possess alcohol or controlled substances.

Anthony Boyd Karlskin, 32 of Boyne Falls, open intoxicant in a motor vehicle. To pay $300 in fines and costs.

Circuit Court

The following cases were recently heard in Charlevoix’s 33rd Circuit Court:

Jesse Jame Johnson, 27 of Boyne City, 2nd Degree Home Invasion. To serve 18 months to 15 years in prison, pay $2,856.03 in fines, costs, and restitution.

Travis John Nelson, 25 of Boyne City, Carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent. To serve 270 days in jail with credit for 108 days served, to pay $958 in fines and costs. To be placed on probation for 2 years.

Benjamin Walter Bolser, 25 of East Jordan, accosting a child for immoral purposes. To serve 180 days in jail with credit for two days served. To be placed on probation for 36 months, complete treatment as referred by the probation department, to pay $608 in fines and costs.
