Boyne pavilion project awarded Great Lakes Energy grant

People Fund grant awarded for Boyne pavilion project

A $10,000 Great Lakes Energy People Fund grant is among the contributions received so far to renovate and expand the community pavilion in Boyne City.

Plans for the proposed $700,000 project include enclosing the structure so it can be used year-round for community and family events, such as the popular farmers market.

Project organizers are nearly one third of the way to reaching their fundraising goal.
