Despite being in the final stages of the planning process for Boyne City’s new administrative and EMS structure, some Boyne City officials are considering a request to discuss moving inland—an issue seemingly settled over a year ago.
However, Mike Dow and Bob Grove, the business partners who purchased the 475 North Lake St. waterfront property and then promptly leased it to Boyne City at no cost, addressed the Boyne City Commission on Tuesday Aug. 25 with a potentially enormous request: move all the city’s facilities off the waterfront.
