Boyne City, Michigan – On June 20-21, the Grain Train Natural Foods Market is celebrating the grand opening of its new satellite store, the Grain Train Neighborhood Market, in Boyne City. The market, at 104 S. Park Street, has been open since December 2013 and is home to 1550 square feet of whole and organic foods, local products including meat, poultry, honey, vegetables and fruits, as well as supplements, personal care products and cleaning supplies.
“We are pleased to serve the Boyne City community with the quality products that northern Michigan residents have come to expect from the Grain Train,” said Robert Struthers, General Manager of the Grain Train Natural Foods Markets. “This second location is in line with our mission to provide greater access to healthy food choices and to bring our successful cooperative business into other parts of our northern Michigan region.”
To celebrate their grand opening, the Grain Train will be offering special savings on key products in their Boyne City location only on Friday and Saturday, June 20-21. There will be hourly prize drawings both days that include t-shirts, a folding bike, a Blissfest Weekend Pass and more. There is a grand prize drawing for a $500 Grain Train gift card. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 20, followed by a “Taste of the Grain Train” outside the store during Boyne City’s Stroll the Streets from 6-9 p.m.
