Help those in need: give to Boyne Community Christmas project

The Boyne Area Community Christmas program is now accepting donations.
The organization has been putting together baskets of food, clothing and toys for the past 60 years.
Organizer Ruth Witenski said she hopes to provide Christmas presents for 1,000 children this year.
New clothes and toys are preferred, but gently used items are accepted.
Non-perishable, unwrapped food, new toys and games, books, clothing, blankets and checks may be dropped off at the Early Childhood Education Center on Pine Street from now through Dec. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
Checks may be made payable to Boyne Area Community Christmas, c/o Treasurer Eleanor West, 915 Robinson St. #15, Boyne City 49712. For information call Witenski at 758-2787; needy families may call Nancy Hosmer at 582-7246.
DROP-OFF SITE – Coldwell Banker Schmidt Realtors at 231 Water St. has been designated as an additional drop-off site for the Community Christmas drive. Items may be dropped off until Dec. 17.
