106.3 FM to become 94.5 and 93.9

The voice of longtime broadcaster, and co-owner of Patriot Voice Radio Network, Greg Marshall is now going farther than ever.

The voice of longtime broadcaster, and co-owner of Patriot Voice Radio Network, Greg Marshall is now going farther than ever.

According to Marshall, who acts as program manager and on-air personality, the switch from 106.3 to both 94.5 and 93.9 was most serendipitous.

“The situation was perfect because Northern Star Broadcasting Group was going to lose a signal due to government regulations, but we were able to trade signals so they could continue to serve their listeners and we could expand our reach to serve our listeners,” Marshall said. “We now have a giant pattern: from Standish to the Saulte, then Manistique to McBain—we went from 31,000 watts on a single transmitter to 50,000 watts on two different transmitters.”

The main difference Charlevoix County listeners will notice is that, where coverage was previously spotty, they will now be able to tune into the station anywhere across the county.

The station’s 24 hour lineup is as follows:

  • 6 a.m. – 9 a.m. is Bill Bennett, former Reagan appointee
