The Ramblers found themselves overmatched in Friday night football action, as the Gladiators of Traverse City St. Francis continued their dominance of the Lake Michigan conference with a 28-0 victory over Boyne City.

Trey Reinhardt led the Boyne defense with 18 tackles, followed by Alan Manross with 17, Colin Ulvund with 16, and Bradley Fouchia with 15.  Ulvund and Elliot Hausler each recovered a fumble and Manross had an interception.

On offense, Zach Wandrie led the ground attack with 18 yards on 6 carries.  Jay Redman was 8 of 18 for 61 yards, with Fouchia, Wandrie and Noah Aller on the receiving end of those passes.

“We are looking forward to getting back on track,” said Coach Nohel.  “We have Charlevoix this week,  it’s homecoming—enough said.”
